Higher throughput and better results… it’s every processor’s dream! Admix was approached by a leading North American dairy manufacturer of milk / goat milk derived yogurt, dip & cheese. They wanted to increase their processing rates to meet an expanding market demand of their ricotta cheese WITHOUT compromising results.

Their existing “shear” pump was limited and had other issues such as difficult cleanability, and recurring costs associated with high maintenance. Admix’s solution? The Boston Shearpump 24C. With other processing plants achieving great success for the same application on the Boston Shearpump, we knew it was the right high shear inline mixing solution.

After a short & successful on-site equipment trial – the processor purchased the unit without hesitation. They were thrilled that their flow rate nearly doubled! In addition, the Admix unit was much easier to clean, lower maintenance, and the appearance and texture of their ricotta was greatly improved!
